From Abuja to Europe: Godwin Roland's Achievement

When Godwin Makoji Roland left Abuja, Nigeria, to study in Europe, he was doing something no one in his family had done before. Today, Godwin Roland’s academic achievement at Hertfordshire Business School gives his family another milestone to celebrate.

He was the first in his family to have the opportunity to travel abroad. With sponsorship from Multitude of Mercies Foundation, Godwin was able to take that step and continue his education in Europe.

Now, he has another milestone to celebrate.

Godwin recently received recognition from Hertfordshire Business School for his academic performance in the Project Management Methodologies module. He was named a Module High Achiever and received a formal commendation letter from the Deputy Dean of Hertfordshire Business School.

The message from the school recognized his hard work, dedication, and academic performance and encouraged him to continue that work throughout the rest of his studies.

For Godwin and his family, the recognition makes an already significant journey even more meaningful.

For Multitude of Mercies Foundation, it is also a reminder of why access to education and opportunity matters.

There are talented, capable people in communities around the world who are ready to learn, work, and grow. Sometimes what they need is access to an opportunity and someone willing to help make it possible.

Godwin received that opportunity. What he has done with it is his accomplishment.
